Book Review: My Side Of The Mountian By:Jean Craighead George

Summary: This story is about a young boy who runs away to the Catskill mountains and survives in the wilderness for one year. In this book the boy named Sam has to have courage and skill in order to survive. He befriends a falcon, runs away from hunters and shoots game to survive. His life is forever changed from his experiences. He changes from a New York city boy into a boy who can make his own way in the wilderness.

Review: This story is  interesting and made me want to have the same adventures as Sam. I would recommend it for 3rd-5th grade readers and for those who love adventure like me. I've read it 3 times and will probably read it again. It is a Newbery Honor book and deserves it in my opinion!
