Summary
Esperanza Rising is a story about a young girl that grew up in Mexico. Her family was very wealthy and she did not have to do any work,but when her father dies her life changes forever and they are forced to move to America in her new life she faces hardship she has never faced before.

Esperanza Rising is a very heartwarming story. Although some parts are extremely sad and there is not a perfect happy ending, she rises above her challenges to find happiness. I would give Esperanza Rising a five book rating. I really enjoyed reading this story.
