Book Review: Mandy By Julie Andrews Edwards
Summary
Mandy is a story about a girl whose parents died and so she is sent to live in an orphanage.
One day she decides to climb the rock wall surrounding the orphanage and she finds an enchanting little cottage in the woods. She has never had a home of her own so she decides to make the cottage her own special place. Later, she discovers flowers for the houses garden from a secret admirer, but a few days later she becomes ill. She is still determined to go to the cottage. A storm is brewing, but luckily a few days before it hits her friend sue secretly follows her as she goes to work on her secret home. Sue tells the matron of the orphanage about the cottage and that Mandy has been sneaking over the wall and spending her time there. The matron calls the man who owns the property who happens to be Mandys' secret admirer and he comes to her rescue during the storm. The ending is both surprising and exciting.

The book Mandy makes me want to have the same experience as the main character. This book is in my opinion is an award winning story. I hope the author writes another book.
